We thought we would reach back to a fantastic wedding and a second look at one of the prettiest properties near Port Huron. Solitude Links Golf Course & Banquet Center is where we will be looking back to a really fun celebration!
Day 1 – Mehndi Ceremony – Henna Ceremony Gathering…
Syeda and Bryan kicked off their two day event with a traditional Hindu blessing ceremony at their home. The Mehndi Ceremony is so beautiful and so special. Everyone was so kind to me and I was intrigued by the entire process and ceremony. I was invited to have henna applied to my hands as well. As you can see, the day was full of sunshine, smiles and laughter. During the ceremony the bride and groom sat front and center among friends and family receiving their blessings.
The celebration continued with beautiful dances and a delicious dinner. The large tents in the yard made for the perfect intimate setting. We had a wonderful time and that night, everyone was getting excited for the next day’s event at Solitude Links Golf Course.
Day 2 – The Wedding…
Day two was time for the more westernized ceremony at Solitude Links Golf Course. It was another sun and smile filled day because everyone was in high spirits. Syeda arrived in a horse drawn carriage as Bryan looked on from the gazebo. After the ceremony the newlyweds departed in the horse drawn carriage for a short ride together before we hopped into a golf cart for some gorgeous shots around the course. The dining room was elegantly decorated and the cake was amazing and the first dance exquisite.
Just before this wonderful day drew to a close we were able to sneak outside for some romantic sunset shots. Thanks to the incredibly cooperative staff at the club who were willing to shut off the outside flood lights, I was able to capture the beauty of this venue at night! Thank you Syeda and Bryan for allowing me to be a part of your wedding and congratulations to you both!
