Some thoughts on this lake side wedding…
Jessica & Ilias’ beautiful St Panteleimon Orthodox Chapel Wedding in Lexington MI.
We had the honor of pleasure of photographing Ilias & Jessica wedding at St. Panteleimon Chapel in Lexington MI. It was up in the thumb on a hot summer day. The group got together at Lake View Hills Golf Club Lexington MI getting ready for the wedding. We then took off for St Panteleimon in Lexington for the service.
The service at St. Panteleimon…
The service was fantastic with such beautiful color in the church. After the service we took a few family photos. That took us about 20 min. then we moved off the lake for some photos while guests enjoyed cocktails. The couple knew of a secluded beach on Lake Huron. It was a bit of a walk but well worth the effort. The bride kicked off her shoes and walked to the beach. What a great spot for some shots away from the crowds.

After the beach shots we made our way back to St Panteleimon Orthodox Pavilion where the party was taking place. I loved this event!
It was supper interesting that I recognized the priest from many wedding I have shot in the Detroit are. I asked him about this and he said this church was part of his responsibility and he would travel up here for wedding and other special events. What a great day and so much fun to be with them and be a part of their great day!
We can’t wait for our next wedding up in the thumb of Michigan!
