Livia & Clark’s Winter Wedding at the Grecian Center in Southgate MI

Olivia and Clark’s wedding was held at the Grecian center in Southgate Michigan. Livia was such a beautiful bride and had an amazing spirit and energy about her.  This energy translated into lots of great expressions and lots of goodwill from those around the couple that day. We started out with some pictures of the couple before the service. These are always fun to set the stage to capture the mood of the day. 

The service was held inside the small room at the Grecian Center. We have shot many weddings here in the past and we like it very much.  Special Moment Photography has enjoyed a relationship with the Grecian Center in Southgate for many years. It started out many years ago with Gigi and now has migrated to a very solid relationship with Charity at the recent center. She took over sometime back and has done a fabulous job for them over the year. 

The service started right on time and was conducted by a good friend of the family. I think the service lasted about 20 minutes and was full of good and important points relating to the couples relationship. It was fun to watch as someone took the initiative to do a live cast on Facebook for some people that could not be in attendance. After the service the couple went straight into their party and took family photos later. 

The reception was small and cozy with just 40 people composing family and close friends. This made it very smooth for the wait staff who did a beautiful job! It wasn’t until later that we did our family photos outside in front of the hall. They also made arrangements to go into the gardens behind the Grecian Center and we got some very beautiful romantic shots of the couple. We wish them the very best in their new life together!
