Darcy & Scott’s Wedding at White House Wedding Chapel Warren & The Masters Restaurant Madison Heights

Wedding Service at White House Wedding Chapel

Darcy and Scott’s wedding took place at the White House Wedding Chapel in Warren MI & The Masters Restaurant in Madison Heights on a beautiful summer day.  When the bride called us at the studio she told us she was going to be having a very small wedding for her immediate family and wondered if we offered small wedding packages. She said she really liked our work. She was excited to learn about our Sweet & Simple wedding packages where you can hire us for a short amount of time and have us edit your images providing you with the high resolution files. This sounded perfect to her!

The White House Wedding Chapel is a gorgeous spot for a wedding on the upper east side. They have an absolutely gorgeous dressing room for the bride and a very beautiful lounge for the men. We spent a little time splitting up photographing the two groups. When Darcy was ready and everything was in position, she came down the beautiful staircase for the service. I would say the service took about 15 or 20 minutes and was very intimate. After the service we took a few family photos before making our way over to Rochester Municipal Park for a few shots of the couple.

It was a gorgeous day with the sun obscured by a thin cloud layer. This diffuses the light so nicely and we were able to get some very pretty pictures of the couple around the park. I would say we spent about 20 minutes in the park before heading to the party at the Masters Restaurant in Madison Heights.

Dinner at the Masters Restaurant Madison Heights

This is an absolutely beautiful and well established restaurant serving incredible food with a golf theme atmosphere. The staff was so kind to us and helpful. It makes all the difference in the world when the staff chips in and helps out everyone to make this kind of small event possible!

Being a micro wedding, often we see the couple not necessarily hiring us to stay long into the evening. Our key role was to get a few detail shots before the guests arrived as well as the couple up on the balcony. It is a spectacular space and lends itself beautifully for photos.

The couple cut their cake and one of their sons made a very heartfelt and meaningful toast to the success of Darcy and Scott’s new marriage. It was very touching to hear his sentiments on how happy everyone was for them. We also wish them the very best life has to offer and hope that you enjoy the pictures we captured for them.

Looking Forward to your wedding.
