Julie & Frank’s St. Thomas A-Becket Canton Wedding & Plymouth Manor Banquet Hall Reception

Wedding Service at St. Thomas A-Becket Canton MI

This was a really nice wedding for Julie Frank that took place at St Thomas A-Beckett in Canton, Michigan with the reception at Plymouth Manor Banquet Hall Plymouth MI. I remember getting the call for this wedding and Julie was interested in our work. She had seen our website and thought it was beautiful and wanted to talk about hiring us. Because she thought she didn’t need an album when it was all done, she opted for one of our sweet and simple packages. They’re perfect for this type of wedding.

We started out at St Thomas A-Beckett Catholic Church in Canton, Michigan. The church has been there for many years and has a strong congregation. The ladies got ready in the dressing room at the church which is located just off the main sanctuary and provides a really nice spot for preparations. We of course moved back and forth as the ladies got ready, stepping out to spend some time with the guys while Julie put on her dress.

The Service at St. Thomas A-Becket

When everyone was set and in place, the bride walked into the sanctuary for her service. It was a rather small wedding, what we call a micro wedding. There were probably only about 20 guests in attendance. Check out our micro packages for examples of this type of coverage. We do many small weddings a year where the couple only needs us for three or four hours, not all day coverage. Our micro wedding packages work great for this!

After the service was completed, we took a few family photos and then got ready to head out to a local park. The fall colors were starting to show and this made for some really pretty backdrops behind the couple.

Off to the Party at Plymouth Manor Banquet Hall Plymouth MI

Plymouth Manor is a beautiful banquet hall in Plymouth, Michigan. Sam, who owns and runs the property, takes great care of his clients from what we hear. We’ve known them for several years and have enjoyed working there. He even refers us on occasion.

The dinner and party was intimate and outstanding. A couple of the key people made toasts to the couple while the guests enjoyed some good stories. Later in the evening we went outside for a few night shots that turned out particularly beautiful.

We hope you enjoy this collection of pictures highlighting Julie and Frank’s wedding on a beautiful fall afternoon. If you have questions about your wedding photography, call us and we will be happy to help you!
