Some Thoughts…

We are starting to get some requests for weddings this winter and thought this would be a great wedding to put up on the site. We shot a sweet wedding this last winter down at St. John Episcopal Church in Detroit. Jami & Brad met up at the church before the wedding for the first look. When Jami walked in you could feel the positive emotion and excitement in the air. I loved the way the light played out when she came down the hallway. You could feel the excitement when we jumped on the party bus and and headed off for shots around downtown. It was very cold but I was impressed that the entire group wanted to get out in it and play. The back of the DIA was great and looked so beautiful with the white dress on white marble on white snow.

The Party…

After roaming around the city for awhile we took off for the Atheneum Suites Hotel in Greektown for the party. The room looked great the way it was set up! I loved the way the head table went right up the center of the room. With some fun toasts and speeches the night was under way. Great dancing and a really fun group made for a wonderful evening for all. After the party was well under way we snuck outside for some really cool winter night shots in the snow. I had a ball working with the couple and wish them all the very best in their new life together.
