Christina & Nicholas: Detroit Yacht Club Wedding & Reception

Some thoughts…

We had a fabulous time shooting Christina and Nicholas’ wedding–what a fun couple they were, and what a gorgeous setting they had for their beautiful day at the Detroit Yacht Club.  After the couple’s “first look” at each other, they were off to Belle Isle for some amazing shots at the fountain and fun shots with their bridal party–what a hoot they all were!

The limo broke down and the groom was spraying starter fluid under the hood while the driver tried to get it going.

This was such a great group to work with.  We went around Belle Isle for about 30 minutes before we took off for the party.  The crowd was enjoying cocktails and ready for a great night!

The Party…

It was great fun!  After a beautiful ceremony, the celebrations started!  The Detroit Yacht Club is such a unique, historic and beautiful venue, and the room was amazing.  The twilight shots at the dock with the gorgeous setting sun are particularly nice!  Thank you Christina and Nicholas for letting us be a part of your special day.
