Getting ready at the Italian American Club Livonia MI….

This wedding took place at the Italian American club in Livonia MI. Our team of photographers met up with the bride and groom at the club before the wedding service for some fun getting ready pictures. It’s such a beautiful room to get ready in and getting some detail shots was high on our priority. Everyone was in high spirits as the couple readied themselves. Their first look was held on the steps along the south side of the club.

Alex came down the stairs to meet Aiden as the bridal party looked on. The goal was to have their first look and get some shots over at Hines Park before the service started. The thinking was that once the service was over, it would be difficult to break away to get shots at another location during the cocktail hour, so they met up before the service.

Off to Wilcox Lake Park in Plymouth…

Wilcox Lake Park is not far from the Italian American Club and provided a gorgeous backdrop and smooth lighting for some pretty pictures. Back at the Italian-American club the guests were arriving and being seated on the outdoor patio for the service.

It was a beautiful day with a light breeze blowing as the couple exchanged vows. The guests looked on with great excitement for the couple. After a relatively short ceremony, we took a few family photos of the parents and siblings before the couple was introduced into their reception.

The party is on!

Upstairs, everyone was seated and ready as the couple entered the room to a thunderous applause. It was a beautiful afternoon and the sun streamed in through the high arched windows. This is one of the most lovely rooms in the area. Those big windows overlook the trees and a beautiful outdoor scene. Dinner was served and everyone enjoyed a fabulous meal!

The couple took to the dance floor for their first dance and the party was on. We selected some highlights from the event to feature here in this blog post.
