Some thoughts on this Mico wedding…

Dawn and Jeff planned a beautiful small backyard wedding at a friend’s home in Canton. It was a micro wedding with just immediate family and a few friends. Truly a micro wedding in every sense. They had planned a larger service & party at Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor but with the restrictions and other covid-19 sensitivities they opted to meet here and have a smaller event.

Some very special friends came in from out of town and helped celebrate. The home wedding service was held in the backyard on the porch with a beautiful and very strong message. After the service we did a few family shots and the bride and groom cracked open some champagne. A couple of toast and one very special marriage wine made by a parish in Traverse City. A couple of toast were made and the cake was cut. Sandwiches and hors d’oeuvres followed.

A small party for friends…

There were smiles all around.  After some conversation and fun we went back out for a few more shots of the couple.  I love the group shot where everyone had their masks on. This was a pretty special day in every way.  We wish them the very best and hope they enjoy the photos. We sure enjoyed working with them!
