Some thoughts on this renewal of wedding vows event…
50 years ago Georgia & Silvio were married and as the story was recounted at the renewal of wedding vows & Anniversary party by a good friend, two of Silvio’s friends went out to the fair in Detroit with three girls on their arm. Silvio had gone himself and spotted his friends and walked over to them. He said, “Hey, you got three of them and there are only two of you, I want one! I want that tall one.” That was the first time he saw Georgia. Here we are 50 years later celebrating their wedding anniversary at the Italian American Club in Livonia.
Priests from Our Lady of Good Council came to celebrate mass at The Club, then a beautiful party was thrown for the friends and family of the couple. We had the honor of photographing this fun night for them. Here is a sample of some of the photographs we took!
