Engagement at Robert Long Park…

What a fun engagement at Robert Long Park for Elizabeth and Joe. With the way they asked questions, I could tell from the get-go they were very bright people. We had an absolute ball. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding, it’s really fun to be around people like them.  We did our engagement pictures at Robert Long Park in Commerce Township.

It’s one of my favorite spots to shoot. It was a bird sanctuary and nature preserve that M5 was forced to go around. Some very smart and forward thinking conservationists saw the importance of this little spot and held out and made the freeway go around them. No harm in the end to the animals, I understand this park is on the monarch migration route. Kind of fun to see a beautiful spot like this saved for people to enjoy a gorgeous outdoor setting.

Looking back…

I remember the first time I photographed at this park was for Cam Carmen, the newscaster. She had found it and wanted to do her engagement pictures here and I couldn’t believe how pretty it was. That was several years back and it’s only grown more beautiful over the years.

Looking forward…

We hope you enjoy these engagement pictures. Thank you again and congratulations to the couple!

We can’t wait for our next covered bridge engagement session!
