Some thoughts on this Pine Knob Wedding…
Andrea met Mike in high school; they hung out a little then went separate ways. I could see the look in Andrea’s eyes when she told me this story and that she meant it with a confident and almost steely determination. She knew it back then that they would get married some day. It would be years before they crossed paths again, I am sure this was meant to be and what a feeling I got listening to this story! We hear some cool stories of how people meet and fall in love and this was one of those that stood out in my mind for shear fortitude and fun.
The garden service…
Andrea was truly in a state of excitement and joy, as they got ready to walk down the aisle. I had such a good time working for these two people knowing the back-story and I tried to capture the feeling of what was going on around me. Looking back over these shots I can feel it all over again. After a fantastic dinner (by the way, the food at Pine Knob is fantastic) Andrea and Mike met out on the back patio for a dance under the moon & stars.
Our good friends from An Ultimate Sound DJ brought the music and the stage was set. It may have been hot that day but the night was cool with a breeze that rustled the pines. See for yourself just how gorgeous the scene was that night. All the best to you two and cheers!
