The unique venue of Matthaei Botanical Gardens wedding Nichols Arboretum with the colorful and lush gardens, bring what you would say is the… Perfect Setting! The reception was held at St. John’s Judea Ballroom If you want to talk about a hot & humid day, this was it! You can see the water hanging in the air, which gives the outdoor shots a blue tint. It was like I was back in Texas and I felt right at home shooting. I could not believe it but no one seemed to miss a beat in spite of this, everyone was focused on the beautiful ceremony and that gorgeous smile on Allison’s face.
We went to the Law Quad in Ann Arbor for some photographs between the wedding and the reception. The shots looked great, one of my favorites is the one just to right of here of them kissing. It was a showstopper and I could tell it was going to be a great one when I looked at the back of the camera. The party got underway at St. John Golf & banquet Center in the Judea room. What a lovely room and such attention to detail. Thanks for a great wedding to shoot and hope you enjoy the shots we got!
We can’t wait for our next St. John’s Judea Ballroom wedding!
