Coffee Table Design Style layout for Randy & Ashley
This is the design layout for Ashley & Randy’s wedding album. We love this layout and hope you do also.
We had a great time photographing this wedding for Randy & Ashley inside of the National Gallery in London England. We went over for this wedding a bit early to scope out the location and get a feel for the location. The trip over went smooth having spent the week before in Lyon France looking around and having some great food. I love to travel for wedding and usually spend some personal time looking around the area while I am over there. This trip was no exception.
We met up at the National Gallery for our getting ready photos in a little room off the National Gallery Cafe. It was a perfect spot for the ladies to prepare and be close when the time came for the service. The service took place just around the corner at the top of the grand staircase off Trafalgar Square. Everyone gather upstairs and we in place when Ashley entered the space. You could feel the excitement in the room.
After the service, we took a few family groups photos before everyone joined up for cocktails on the veranda behind the great columns facing out over the famous Trafalgar Square in downtown London. The excitement in the air was so much fun!
The National Gallery Cafe was set for the party and when the time came everyone came downstairs for the party. The band was on fire! They came down from Northern England for this event. I understand from Ashley that they saw the band up north and loved their energy. When they asked them to play for their wedding down in London they jumped at the chance. What a fun night to see and feel how much fun the couple had. Having the means to pull this off and the aptitude for how the through a great party did not come out of thin air. They had been around the block and knew what their friends and family would enjoy and they put it all together for them. We can’t wait to get back over to the National Gallery for another fun event.

I want to say a bit about destination weddings. We have done may over the years and how we handle them is that the couple will cover our flight, three nights hotel near the venue and any incidental travel fees like trains for taxis, Uber ect. The other stipulation is that they must purchase at least a 44 page album package. The rational for this is that we would normally shoot a couple of weddings on a weekend and setting a package minimum helps offset the loss of a second night of shooting since we will be out of town on the destination wedding. I hope this make some sense and gives those considering having us go over seas for an event an idea of the expectations of having us go along.
