We had the honor of a request to photograph this Brit Milah service for a local family. The names have been removed for privacy but we wanted to share this special event on our blog roll as a part of our portfolio. The event took place at The Shul – Jack and Miriam Shenkman in West Bloomfield Michigan. It was a beautiful August day when the community gathered for this sacred mitzvah.
Capturing the details and the emotion…
I moved around looking for some important details of the events and tried to capture the emotion and intricacies going on around me. The event was handled with photography at a discreet distance and respectful angles. I enjoyed being with the family sharing this important event.
