Lisa beautiful job photographing this wedding for Laura & Dan at the incredible Weller’s of Saline!    The couple was full of fun and had a fantastic day with the weather cooperating.  What a beautiful bride Laura was, classic, and natural!  Loved the “purples” throughout the day.  The flowers, the dresses and her striking shoes!  Weller’s is such a wonderful venue, hosting beauty everywhere your eye wanders.  Laura and Dan, enjoyed themselves, they were relaxed, and had fun with their bridal party, family and friends!  Good Luck with everything, and enjoy your photos.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, that is what I have to say about these wedding photos!  Cassie and John chose 2 fantastic locations, which actually turned out to be 4 different looks!  Mill Race Village Church is a quaint location that is in the middle of the Village and it lends to some pretty and out of the ordinary backdrops!  Then off to the Meeting House Grand Ballroom in Plymouth, which is one of the premier wedding locations; built in 1927, the Meeting House Grand Ballroom is one of the finest totally private
and historic wedding reception site in Plymouth.  Personalities shown throughout the day!  It certainly was one fun wedding!  Cassie and John also took advantage of Kellogg Park in Plymouth, for some fun shots in front of the Penn, and the last photo, being our favorite, in front of the fountain.  Patrick & Sarah, way to go, You two got some really cool shots on this wedding!  Cassie and John, enjoy your wedding photos for years to come.

We had so much fun with this wedding, Shelby & Michael seemed so made for one another.  It’s all about how people feel toward each other and the love in the room that makes for the great weddings.

Getting ready for the wedding we got some really nice photographs of the groups getting ready then they were off to get married.  The Priest that married them was a long time friend of the family and had married the bride’s parents years back.  He had a wonderful message during the service and many compliments were heard.  The Galilee Ballroom looked beautiful for the reception and was so well done.   DJ Ed Wilson, LeoLibra  Entertainment spun out some great tunes and the dance floor was packed!  This is one of our favorite dance shots of the two of them that night, they had a great group and we had a lot of fun.

We had a lot of fun on this shoot!   Arielle and Dave got engaged at Bandemer Park in Ann Arbor so we went back for our photo session last week.  The weather held out and the puppy was more than willing to join in the fun.  The wedding date will be coming up in a few months at the Inn At St. John.  Should be lots of fun and another great opportunity and a big celebration!

Jennifer & Blake were an adorable couple!  Our photographer Patrick  stated, “They were a match made in heaven!”  There was something very special about them he said. He said when they looked at one another; there was a genuine look of love.  A friend had a Model T that they drove to the reception, which was a lot of fun.  Many people helped make their wedding day very special.  And…. check out the little red head!

Kelly is the granddaughter of Pat O’Malley, a very dear friend of us here at Special Moments and one of the finest black & white printers in the country!  Our Sarah & Patrick were very honored to photograph this wedding for the family.   We think their album tells a wonderful love story!  Family means everything to this couple and they all had a beautiful time celebrating this union.  Some of our favorites of the album are, Page 5, an award winning close-up of Kelly through her veil captured by Sarah, page 18, Chris sees Kelly coming down the aisle, page 39, Kelly’s Grandfather, the Skyping of Kelly’s father who was unable to go to the wedding, and the last page of their album!  Again, thank you Kelly and Chris for allowing us to photograph your wedding, it was great fun and you were a joy to work with.

Carrie on lead & one of our photojournalists did an amazing job for Ashlee & Derek!  She captured all of the fantastic details of this wedding.  Ashlee chose amazing colors, and dresses and decorations!  Everywhere your eye went, there was something beautiful to look at.  Ashlee’s dress along with the bridesmaids and the flower girls were so pretty!  They had lots of fun at this wedding and Kensington Court was breathtaking!  The tables looked gorgeous!  Even the cake was amazing.  And we love the shot of all of the guys and their cigars!

Rebekah & Jeff   photographed at Greenmead and Fox Hills Country Club – We don’t have the opportunity to shoot many winter weddings so this was a real treat.  Rebekah & Jeff chose 2 great venues to hold their celebration.  Greenmead is the perfect location for smaller weddings and Fox Hills Classic Clubhouse encompasses part of the original log cabin built in 1927.  Its warmth and hominess was just what they were looking for and everyone had a wonderful time.   Beautiful job on the photos Carrie!

Kim & Kevin’s wedding album is now complete and is so pretty.  It tells a wonderful story of family and friends on a beautiful winter day!  Everyone was willing to go out in the cold and snow to take some very cool shots!  The pages in Kim and Kevin’s album are filled with family, friends, and fun!  Patrick, once again, did an amazing job, especially getting incredible nighttime shots.
