Wedding Reception Details from Shanon & Chad’s wedding party at the Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando Florida. Wedding Designed by the John Breco Designs Team.It is about once in a lifetime that you get to see a wedding of this splendor. We initially got the call from our good friend and wedding planner, Carolyn Hefner from The China Closet that she was involved in a spectacular wedding down in Orlando Florida and the designer: John Breco Design, needed to record what he had created. The next day we were on a flight and shooting that afternoon on location at the Orange Tree Golf & Country Club.
Patrick shot this one for Breco and recalls: “I walked into a fairytale. The setting for this event was at the Orange Tree Golf & Country Club on the west side of Orlando. Breco walked me around for about an hour showing me all the little details he and his team had been working on for months. I could not believe what I was seeing; the level of detail that went into this event was mind blowing. I was on fire and went to work to try and capture this for them. When you get a creative genius like John Breco behind a project you are in for a treat, there is eye candy everywhere! I worked late into the night watching the final touches come together, there must have been 30 people working late into the night on different projects. Wedding day was even more intense, I got there early in the morning and started shooting and by about 3pm when the couple arrived the scene was set. I remember the look on the brides face when her Dad walked her in for a first look; she was smiling from ear to ear. She had loved the story of Jack in the Beanstalk from her childhood and Breco had built fantasy land for her!
The night was one to remember in so many ways. Breco group had built about 30,000 square feet of decking around the clubhouse with different rooms for the guest to wander through. There was a gigantic tent set up for the meals through out the weekend, a special tent was set up for the Paul Vesco Band and they brought the house down! There was a clear roof on the smoking lounge tent with reclining chairs so you could look up at the stars and enjoy a great cigar. It went on and on and the level of detail it took to pull this wedding off blew me away. Toward the end of the night I had wanted to get a shot of the swing in action that was installed into a giant tree near the lake. I had been waiting for a while when the moment came that a little girl came out to swing in the moonlight. I got closer for the look I had anticipated, I could not believe my luck but it is one of my favorite shots from this wedding. For me it symbolized so much to see this little girl enjoying the swing by moonlight and I imagined she was dreaming about her wedding some day. ”

Abigail Tompkins & James Johannson wedding album design photographed at the Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian in Detroit & reception at Grosse Pointe Club in Grosse Pointe Farms aka “The Little Club”.Abigail and James chose a Coffee Table Design for their album. It turned out lovely and tells a wonderful story. Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian in Detroit is a beautiful historical church. The first service was held on Palm Sunday, 1926 for the workmen who built the church and their families, it took over four years to build.
Having your wedding reception at “The Little Club” as the Grosse Pointe Club is affectionately known as an intimate, historic home away from home nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake St. Clair – and the evening was just that, affectionately intimate. Abigail’s wedding gown and cathedral veil were stunning. They brought family and friends together to have a wonderful time celebrating their union. We wish Abigail and James good fortune, and we trust they will enjoy their wedding album for years to come.

Shannon & Matt’s wedding photos & coffee table album design – St. Thomas A-Becket Canton & Burton Manor LivoniaShannon & Matt’s Coffee Table Album Design is spectacular! St. Thomas A-Becket is a strong parish and a beautiful church. Lisa did a wonderful job capturing the personalities all day long – smiles, laughter and even tears on the dance floor at the Father/Daughter dance. The photographs from the Summit on the Park in Canton are beautiful! We love the bridge ones, the umbrella ones, and ones near the trees. The tenderness of the couple shows through on the last page of the album! We hope you enjoy your wedding album for years to come.

Rana & Mark’s wedding album design, wedding photos at Dearborn InnWhat a handsome couple they make. Rana & Mark were fantastic to work with. Rana’s dress was perfect and she was such a beautiful bride!
They were referred to us by a couple that Patrick photographed back in 2006. It is so nice when we have a client come from a past bride & groom.
The Dearborn Inn hosts an event like none other. Having the option to have the ceremony outside in the garden (weather permitting) or inside in one of their ballrooms is such a wonderful opportunity for a couple. It was a beautiful autumn day and they took the time to get some great shots of their families and themselves on the grounds. The album tells a beautiful story, that this couple will have for years to come.

Samantha & Scott’s wedding album design – Inn at St. John’s & Atrium Ballroom PlymouthSamantha & Scott’s wedding album is complete now and it looks great. They chose a Coffee Table Design, which allows for the story to unfold on the pages. St. John’s Chapel is one of the prettiest in this area and the grounds are just as stunning. At the reception, everyone had a fun time on the dance floor and to end the album with the mariachi band was perfect. Great Job Lisa on helping Samantha and Scott tell their story.

Monica & Dave’s wedding album design Westcroft Gardens Grosse Ile & Silver Shores Waterfront WyandotteThis wedding album design came together with some beautiful photos from the wedding at a little know spot on Grosse Ile. The Westcroft Gardens is a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding as you can see. Monica & Dave’s wedding reception was held on the waterfront in Wyandotte at Silver Shores Banquet facility. It was once the Wyandotte Yacht Club but converted some time back to this nice little wedding banquet hall. We heard the food is good and the photos sure looked nice.

Stephanie & Joe’s wedding photo album design – Lovett Hall Greenfield VillageWow, this album screams fun! And it screams wow – The Henry Ford Museum! You can almost feel and hear the good time Stephanie, Joe, the Bridal Party and their guests had on their wedding day! Having a winter wedding gave Stephanie the opportunity to wear a pretty cape, she also picked a gorgeous color for her flowers, and – - “Where’d ya get those shoes?” The Henry Ford never stops giving you something lovely to look at and fun to do. Beautiful album, and wonderful memories – enjoy! Lisa, nice job on the wedding photo shoot!

Dayna & Anthony’s wedding & reception photos at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox TroyDayna & Anthony’s wedding was a lot of fun and the design was a treat to work on. Having the wedding and reception at one location is great when you have a church and a reception ballroom that both look so beautiful. The bridesmaid dresses were this really pretty color of orange and it is always a blast when you get together that many groomsmen! The chandeliers in the ballroom are gorgeous and the dance floor was packed all night! And the very last page of this album is stunning; it should be up on a wall!!! We hope you enjoy the layout and as always, we welcome your comments below.

Tina & Rich’s wedding album design St. Michael Lutheran Canton & Plymouth Manor Banquets in PlymouthThere are fun weddings and then there are FUN weddings! Tina & Rich were great, they had sooo much energy and the bridal party was plugged in. St. Michael Lutheran of Canton is a relatively small but very unusually shaped church that makes for some great photo opportunities. Tina’s flowers were gorgeous, and after the ceremony they did some great shots in Plymouth’s Old Village, then off to Plymouth Manor for a wonderful evening. Fun wedding, thank you Tina and Rich!
